"A single-edged sword seldom seen in Hyrule. This weapon is passed down through the Sheikah tribe and has an astonishingly shape edge ideal for slicing."

— In-Game Description

The Eightfold Longblade is a two-handed weapon found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base power of 32, and can be found in various chests across Hyrule. It appears to be a two-handed version of the Eightfold Blade, dealing much more damage, but the sacrifice is that Link is unable to use a Shield whilst wielding this heavy blade. It bears resemblance to a samurai sword, with its curved design and long, razor sharp blade.

It has a unique charge attack, which is a horizontal slash, rather than the Great Spin Attack, which is commonly shared by every other two-handed weapon in the game. The only other weapon that shares this trait is the Windcleaver.
