The Lightning Rod is an elemental rod found in Breath of the Wild. It has an unusual appearance, with two metal ribbons connecting at the top to form the generator for the electricity.

A Lightning Rod has a base melee power of 5, but its main purpose is to cast powerful balls of electricity which have the ability to electrocute enemies. It can be obtained by defeating Electric Wizzrobes in battle; it is a guaranteed drop.
