The Creation of the World,[1] also known as The Creation Myth,[2] is the story of how the world came to be.
Creation of the World
Before time began, the three Golden Goddesses created Hyrule out of chaos.[3][4] Din, the Goddess of Power, "cultivated the land and created the red earth." Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, "gave the spirit of law to the world." Farore, the Goddess of Courage, "produced all life forms who would uphold the law."[5][6]
The Sacred Realm and the Triforce
The goddesses left the Triforce at the point where they departed from their creation, which became known as the Sacred Realm.[7] The Triforce contains the essence of their power, and its omnipotence can grant the desires of anyone who possesses it. To ensure that this power would be used responsibly, it was left in the care of the goddess Hylia.[8]
