The Drillshaft is a spear-like weapon found in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Drillshafts have a power of 14, and can be used to mine Ore Deposits found all over Hyrule with great effectiveness, due to the durability being fairly high in this regard. Drillshafts can also break bombable walls.
Due to being designed for mining, the Drillshaft is also highly effective against Taluses as well. It deals double damage to them, for an effective base power of 28, but is unique in that it is the only spear (or non-two-handed weapon, for that matter) to deal bonus damage against Taluses. As such, it is one of the stronger weapons for hunting them down, roughly on par with a Stone Smasher and being outclassed by the almighty Boulder Breaker.
Location
- A respawning drillshaft can be found on the mountain between Goron Hot Springs and Daqa Koh Shrine, behind some breakable rocks.
