A New Day is a non-playable period that occurs after Majora has been defeated in Majora's Mask. The events of the day are different depending on how many people in the Bombers' Notebook Link has helped, such as Anju and Kafei getting married.

Ending Scenes

During the ending credits, we see the aftermath of the characters that Link has helped throughout Termina.

These scenes are shown no matter what.

• The Indigo-Go's perform the song written by Japas and Mikau during the Carnival of Time in the Milk Bar.
• A boat of four Gerudo Pirates are seen seafaring on the waters of the Great Bay near the Marine Research Laboratory under a rainbow adorned sky.
• In the throne room of Ikana Castle, the disembodied ghostly heads of Igos du Ikana and his bodyguards are seen arguing and singing.
• There is a quick shot of the Goron Village.
• The inhabitants of the Deku Palace, all but the Deku Butler, are seen standing cordially with the Monkey in their throne room. The Monkey waves and the Deku Princess curtsies, to the camera.

These scenes are available only after collecting the proper masks. If the mask was never collected, the screen will just shot the mask rotating in place.

• The Postman is running freely through the eastern region of Termina Field. (Postman's Hat)
• The Rosa Sisters dance at the Milk Bar using the form taught to them by Link using Kamaro's Mask. (Kamaro's Mask)
• The five Great Fairies of Termina, in their complete forms, float together. (Great Fairy's Mask)
• Romani and Cremia are shown at Romani Ranch. (Romani's Mask)
• The Bomb Shop Owner and his mother are embracing in front of their shop. (Blast Mask)
• Grog is seen with his cuccos. (Bunny Hood)
• The Indigo-Go's perform again, but Zora Link is absent. In the audience are some Zoras, Carpenters, and the Gorman Brothers. (Circus Leader's Mask)
• A final sweep of the Milk Bar shows a large crowd listening to the musical talents of Guru-Guru. (Bremen Mask)
• Pamela runs into the arms of her father outside of their Music Box home, feeling happy to love in a Gibdo-free Ikana. (Gibdo Mask)
• After a long and painful wait, Kafei and Anju have their wedding ceremony. (Couple's Mask)
• The Deku Butler is seen kneeling before the mysterious withered Deku Tree beneath the Clock Tower, quivering. Many fans believe this tree is his missing son. (Mask of Scents)

After the credits, the final scene of the game plays.

• Link is seen riding through the Lost Woods on Epona. After he rides off, a ring of light shows a shot of a stump with a simple drawing of Tatl, Link, Skull Kid, and Tael. The Four Giants wave in the background. After a few moments, Saria's Song makes one final return in the Zelda N64 saga.
