In Tri Force Heroes, the outfit - known as the Fierce Deity Mail in PAL regions - is the reward for completing the Den of Trials. It was added on December 2, 2015, as a free DLC update. The Fierce Deity Armor allows Link to attack with double power and shoot four Sword Beams at full health from the Fierce Deity Sword. If Link is not at full health, he can still shoot four beams if he performs a Spin Attack.

In Breath of the Wild, the Fierce Deity Armor is an amiibo-exclusive piece of torso armor.

It has a base defense of 3, and can be obtained by scanning the Link (Majora's Mask) amiibo, through the use of the amiibo Rune.
