The Vah Ruta Divine Helm is a piece of headgear found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

"A treasure gifted to the one who controls Divine Beast Vah Ruta. It endows its user with enhanced abilities."

Breath of the Wild In-Game Description

The Vah Ruta Divine Helm has a base defense of 4, and can be obtained by scanning the Mipha amiibo, through the use of the amiibo Rune. Scanning the amiibo will drop various fish from the sky, along with a treasure chest, which has a chance of containing the headgear, but can also contain different items. The amiibo can only be scanned once per day, and like with the other Divine Helms, it's required for at least any one of the Divine Beasts to have been cleared in order to obtain the Helm.

Armor Set

The Vah Ruta Set (also including Ancient Cuirass and Ancient Greaves) enables Link to deal more damage with ancient weapons, when all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.

Wearing the Divine Helm in place of the Ancient Helm retains the set's Ancient Proficiency and adds Swim Speed Up, but reduces the set's Guardian Resistance Up by one level.

Enhance Path

Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.

Tears of the Kingdom

"A helm worn by a warrior who protected the Zora in a time beyond memory. It's said to deepen the bond with the Zora when worn by a Hylian."

Tears of the Kingdom in-game description

The Vah Ruta Divine Helm was worn by the ancient Zora Sage of Water in the era of Hyrule's founding, when Rauru was king, and can be found in the Cave Under Zora's Domain - the entrance to which is located behind the waterfall under the Great Zora Bridge, downstream of Zora's Domain - as the subject of the Secret Treasure under the Great Fish Side Quest. Within the cave, it can be found a Treasure Chest toward the back, behind another waterfall.

It has a base defense of 2 and, when worn, increases the attack power of Sidon or his avatar - who will also be shown to wear the Vah Ruta Divine Helm while Link does - which stacks with the upgrade granted by the Solemn Vow of Sidon, Sage of Water. It also grants Link one level of Swim Speed Up.

If sold, it can be repurchased from Cece after The Mayoral Election is complete for 4000 rupees. It can also be obtained by scanning the Mipha amiibo, through the use of the amiibo Rune. Scanning the amiibo will drop various fish from the sky, along with a treasure chest, which has a chance of containing the headgear, but can also contain different items. The amiibo can only be scanned once per day.

Enhance Path

Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
