The Cap of the Hero can be found in a Treasure Chest in the Tuft Canyon Mine, near the Ancient Observation Deck and Abandoned Lurelin Mine. An Old Map held by a Flux Construct II in the South Hyrule Sky Archipelago directs Link towards it.

Once found, if sold it can be repurchased from a Depths Bargainer Statue for 400 Poes, or from Cece in Ventest Clothing Boutique after the completion of The Mayoral Election side adventure for 4000 rupees.
