East Akkala Plainsis an area in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Rough area in the East Akkala Plains where thunderstorms are always triggered.

The East Akkala Plains are located just north of Tarrey Town and are a mid-point between the South Akkala Stable and East Akkala Stable, west of the northbound road. The area is a fairly open, grassy plain where Link will find some wild horses roaming around, and it's relatively featureless otherwise. Across the road to the east, the spiral Rist Peninsula can be seen.

Should Link have started the From The Ground Up quest, the Plains are also a mid-point between Tarrey Town and the South Akkala Stable.

At the east end of the plains Link will encounter an enemy Stalnox at nighttime. The area surrounding the Stalnox will trigger a Thunderstorm when entered. The perimeter of this area is circular with the Stalnox roughly at its center, and almost touches the East Akkala Plains text in the Sheikah Slate's map. For reference, the area doesn't include the road.

At the northwest end of the plains on a higher plateau, there are some sparkling leaves running around. If Link can catch them, he will find a Korok. At the north end of the plains, there are a series of bushes on a higher plateau. In the center of the area there is a tree stump that when stepped on, creates a yellow circle off to the northeast. Reach the circle in time to get another Korok Seed.

Reaching the plains is mainly done through the northbound road, with the Katosa Aug Shrine being the closest to it. Though Ritaag Zumo Shrine is closer, it's not as practical to reach from as the former.

The East Akkala Plains can be found near the northeast end of Hyrule, north of Tarrey Town. Much of the East Akkala Plaines centers around the massive East Akkala Plains Chasm that connects with the Depths. One of the four dragons, Dinraal can be found coming out of the chasm and floating above the region of the East Akkala Plains.

A rather dangerous Battle Talus can be found at the east end of the area, as the four Blue Bokoblin either wield Bomb Flowers or Fire Fruit. Once defeated, a chest opens up containing a Sapphire.
