"The Text Stick.png became the honeycomb Text Honeycomb.png! You're not sure how it happened, but take it!"

— In-Game Description

The Honeycomb is an item featured in Link's Awakening as part of the fourteen item of the Trading Sequence. Link obtains the Honeycomb by speaking with Tarin in Ukuku Prairie with the Stick in his possession. Tarin borrows the Stick from Link and takes a whack at a nearby hive of Bees.[1] The Bees then chase him away, leaving behind the Honeycomb.[2] Link can then take the Honeycomb to the Chef Bear in Animal Village to receive the next item in the Sequence: the Pineapple. The Chef Bear has just run out of honey and asks Link for the Honeycomb in exchange for the Pineapple.[3][4]
