The Honeycomb is an item featured in Link's Awakening as part of the fourteen-item trading sequence.
Link's Awakening
The Honeycomb is obtained by speaking with Tarin in Ukuku Prairie with the Stick in his possession. Tarin borrows the Stick from Link and takes a whack at a nearby hive of Bees.[1] The Bees then chase him away, leaving behind the Honeycomb.[2] Link can then take the Honeycomb to the Chef Bear in Animal Village to receive the next item in the Sequence: the Pineapple. The Chef Bear has just run out of honey and asks Link for the Honeycomb in exchange for the Pineapple.[3][4]
