Below is a listing of all 32 Heart Pieces found in the Link's Awakening remake for Nintendo Switch.

For the original version on the Game Boy and the DX remaster on the Game Boy Color, where there are only 12 Pieces of Heart, view that particular Heart Piece Guide.

Location: Mabe Village
Conditions: Acquire the Sword
Heart Piece #1: There is a small well found at the west end of Mabe Village. Cut down the bushes and jump down into the well to find a Piece of Heart.
Location: Mabe Village
Conditions: Enough Rupees to play the Trendy Game (10)
Heart Piece #2: Play the Trendy Game at the southeast corner of Mabe Village for 10 Rupees. Position the crane right over the Piece of Heart and grab it.
Location: Mabe Village
Conditions: Enough Rupees to fish (10)
Heart Piece #3: Fish at the Fishing Pond at the northwest corner of Mabe Village for 10 Rupees. Catch a small fish and Link will be awarded a Piece of Heart.
Location: Mabe Village
Conditions: Enough Rupees to fish (10)
Heart Piece #4: Fish again at the Fishing Pond for 10 Rupees. Catch a large fish and Link will be awarded a Piece of Heart.
Location: Koholint Prairie
Conditions: Acquire Roc's Feather
Heart Piece #5: Exit the Mysterious Forest to the east to reach the Koholint Prairie. The Heart Piece is surrounded by small holes and Link can jump to it using Roc's Feather.
Location: Tabahl Wasteland
Conditions: Acquire Roc's Feather
Heart Piece #6: Located within the Tabahl Wasteland, which is just south of Dampé's Shack and north of the Cemetery. The Piece of Heart is hidden away at the northeast corner of the Wasteland. Simply jump over the gap with Roc's Feather.
Location: Mysterious Forest
Conditions: Acquire the Power Bracelet
Heart Piece #7: During your first visit through the Mysterious Forest, you may have traveled through a cave near the center of the forest when you acquired the Mushroom. Return to this cave and on the third screen, there is a Piece of Heart. Now that you have the Power Bracelet, you can lift up the skull that is blocking the way. Do so and collect the Piece of Heart.
Location: Town Tool Shop
Conditions: Enough Rupees (200)
Heart Piece #8: Available right from the start of the game, Link can purchase a Piece of Heart from the Town Tool Shop in Mabe Village for the hefty cost of 200 Rupees.
Location: Ukuku Prairie
Conditions: Acquire the Power Bracelet
Heart Piece #9: Just east of Mabe Village in the Ukuku Prairie, there is a small cave with a treasure chest and a Piece of Heart in the bottom-right corner. First push the top-left block up one and then push the top-most block to the right. Lift the skull and toss it out of the way. There are two blocks on the right side, with one right above the other. Push the top one to the right and the bottom one down. Then lift the skull to reach the Heart Piece.
Location: Seashell Mansion
Conditions: Acquire Five Secret Seashells
Heart Piece #10: After obtaining at least five Secret Seashells, make your way to the Seashell Mansion, located just southeast of Kanalet Castle. Link will be given a Piece of Heart as a reward.
Location: Tal Tal Mountain Range
Conditions: Acquire the Power Bracelet
Heart Piece #11: From Dampé's Shack, travel directly northward towards the Tal Tal Mountain Range. Lift the rocks here and enter the first cave. Walk to the right and break the purple crystal. Push the block down and then head down the stairs. Immediately turn around and head back up the stairs. From here, there are three rocks in a straight line just below the staircase. Push the middle one down, and then the one on the left to the left. Break the purple crystal and grab the Heart Piece.
Location: Pothole Field
Conditions: Acquire the Golden Leaves, Pegasus Boots (Optional), Roc's Feather (Optional)
Heart Piece #12: While navigating the Pothole Field at Richard's Villa, there is a Piece of Heart hidden at the northeast corner. You can jump and slash away with your sword to cut down the bushes. While there are two rows of holes, if you jump right at the edge, Link is barely able to cross the gap and reach the Heart Piece. It's best to jump right in between the two holes. This can be challenging and if you are having trouble, you can return after acquiring the Pegasus Boots, which will allow you to run and jump, easily clearing the gap.
Location: Ukuku Prairie
Conditions: Acquire the Pegasus Boots, Bombs
Heart Piece #13: Exit Mabe Village to the east and continue northeast from the warp point. There is a wall here that can be blasted open with a bomb, revealing a cave. Inside, use the Pegasus Boots and dash through the blocks that are in your way. Avoid the Spark and you'll find a cracked wall on the right. Use a bomb to blast open a hole and head through to find a Piece of Heart.
Location: Animal Village
Conditions: Acquire the Pegasus Boots
Heart Piece #14: At the northwest corner of Animal Village, there is a Piece of Heart that is visible. Make your way to where the Walrus was at the southeast part of Animal Village and from there, head north. Wrap around the top of the buildings and run over to collect your prize.
Location: Yarna Desert
Conditions: Acquire the Ocarina, Bombs
Heart Piece #15: After fighting the Desert Lanmola in the Yarna Desert, allow the quicksand to drop you down into the cave below. From here, place a bomb against the north wall. The Piece of Heart awaits for you in the next room.
Location: Dampé's Shack
Conditions: Complete Key Cavern
Heart Piece #16: Complete the Fill Up Your Hearts dungeon at the Chamber Dungeon and Dampé will award Link a Heart Piece.
Location: Trendy Game
Conditions: Complete Key Cavern
Heart Piece #17: Back at Mabe Village, if Link has been collecting all the items from the Trendy Game, after defeating Key Cavern, a new Piece of Heart is now available, this one along the top part with the moving platforms.
Location: Tal Tal Heights
Conditions: Acquire the Flippers
Heart Piece #18: After obtaining the Flippers, swim eastward from Angler's Tunnel and you'll find a cave. Inside the cave, dive underwater to find the Piece of Heart.
Location: Kanalet Castle
Conditions: Acquire the Flippers
Heart Piece #19: Found in the moat that surrounds Kanalet Castle, this Heart Piece is underwater, just west of the front gate. Swim along the west side of the castle to reach this location and dive underwater to grab the Heart Piece.
Location: Martha's Bay
Conditions: Acquire the Flippers
Heart Piece #20: Swim to the south end of Martha's Bay. There is a narrow passage where the water slips through and in this area, there is a Piece of Heart. Dive down underwater to grab it.

Conditions: Acquire the Flippers, Pegasus Boots
Heart Piece #21: At the south end of Martha's Bay, there is a staircase that can be seen, surrounded by bushes. There is a gap of two holes to the left. You can run with the Pegasus Boots, jump in the area, and then slash away with your sword to clear the gap and cut down the bushes. Go down the stairs into a cave and you'll find some deeper water. If you look closely, you'll spot a Heart Piece down there. Dive underwater to grab it.
Location: Ukuku Prairie
Conditions: Acquire the Flippers
Heart Piece #22: Just south of the Seashell Mansion, take the underground passage that you originally used to reach the east side of Koholint Island. Now that you have the flippers we can dive down underwater and grab the Heart Piece that is hidden in this cave.
Location: Animal Village
Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot, Bombs
Heart Piece #23: At the northeast corner of Animal Village, there is a crack in the wall. You'll have to go around and reach this area by walking just north of where the sleeping Walrus was. Drop a bomb against the cracked wall and enter the cave. Drop a second bomb against the wall to the north and head on through. Walk around the corner and you'll see a cracked block. Toss a bomb towards the block to blow it up. Backtrack around the cave to get to the other side of this room. With the cracked block out of the way, hookshot across the gap and snag the heart piece.
Location: Mysterious Forest
Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot
Heart Piece #24: Return to the Mysterious Forest and at the north-central part of the forest, there is a cave surrounded by three blocks. Inside the cave, use your Hookshot to reach the treasure chest that contains a Purple Rupee. Then use the hookshot to grapple onto the rock. Push the rock out of the way and snag the Heart Piece.
Location: Koholint Prairie (Cemetery)
Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot, Roc's Feather
Heart Piece #25: Make your way to the Witch's Hut, located just west of the Cemetery in the Koholint Prairie. Just south of the hut there are a series of rocks that block off a staircase. Climb down the steps and you'll find a Piece of Heart in this cave. Blow up the nearby boulder with some bombs and then hookshot across the gap. Jump over with Roc's Feather to grab the heart piece. Push the blocks out of the way and exit the cave.
Location: Dampe's Shack
Conditions: Complete Catfish's Maw
Heart Piece #26: After completing Catfish's Maw, there are more chambers that Link can complete over in the Chamber Dungeon. Visit Dampé's Shack to arrange and then complete the chambers. After completing all level 2 chambers, Dampé will award Link a Piece of Heart.
Location: Rapids Ride Cave
Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot
Heart Piece #27: The cave at the northeast portion of the area outside the Face Shrine leads up to the Rapids Ride. While in the cave you'll find a Piece of Heart. Use the Hookshot to grapple across the gap and snag the Heart Piece.

Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot
Heart Piece #28: When you start the Rapids Ride, travel all the way to the far left. Drop down the waterfall and stay against the western wall. You'll find a small island with a Piece of Heart. Use the Hookshot to grapple over to the vines and climb the ladder to reach the heart piece.
Location: Rapids Ride
Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot (Recommended)
Heart Piece #29: Play the Rapids Race and finish the race in under 40 seconds to earn a Piece of Heart. You can use the Hookshot to move the raft slightly quicker, if you aim successfully.
Location: Tal Tal Mountain Range
Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot, Bombs
Heart Piece #30: From the Hen House, located on top of the Tal Tal Mountain Range, travel west and use your Hookshot to get across the broken bridge. At the far west, slash at the bush to reveal a staircase. In this case, drop a bomb against the south wall to blast it open. Walk down and then to the right to grab the Piece of Heart.

Conditions: Acquire the Hookshot
Heart Piece #31: While traveling west on the Tal Tal Mountain Range, as you head towards Turtle Rock, you will leap off a ledge and reach an area with an enemy Like Like and Shrouded Stalfos. From here, walk west along the narrow ledge to find the Piece of Heart.
Location: Turtle Rock
Conditions: Acquire the Mirror Shield
Heart Piece #32: While adventuring through Turtle Rock, you'll reach a room with a Vire near the northwest part of the dungeon. You can take the stairs to make your way outside of the dungeon. The Heart Piece awaits for you on the higher platform.
Location: Dampe's Shack
Conditions: Complete Turtle Rock
Full Heart Container: After completing all 8 dungeons, return to Dampe's Shack and he'll have a new dungeon arrangement for you titled Ticking Clock. After beating this arrangement, along with his 11 other challenges, Dampe will reward you with a full Heart Container.
