??? is a character in Link's Awakening. It can be found in northeastern Yarna Desert and appears to be a skull and bones like many other strewn across the desert. In the 2019 remake, it possesses subtle pupils that make it different than the other piles of bones.
If Link sprinkles Magic Powder on ???, it will awaken and be grateful for the refreshing powder. It informs him of a wall that can be bombed underneath the Desert Lanmola's sand pit to the northwest.[1]
