Every time he reached the 10th, 20th, 30th and 40th floors he'll encounter a [[Great Fairy]] and will cause  [[Fairies]] to appear in different [[Light Springs]]. Once he reaches the 50th floor (If he has an empty [[Bottle]] he'll get a bottle of [[Great Fairy's Tears]] which will grant temporary increase in strength and replenish all of his health.

Great Fairy Fountain

A Great Fairy Fountain is a reccuring location found in seven Zelda titles. They are places where Link can encounter a Great Fairy who can replenish his health and give him upgrades to certain items or even magic.

A Link to the Past

In this game the fountains are scattered across Hyrule in various caves, They restore Link's health. There are also special fountains called Mysterious Pond's where Link can get upgrades for weapons such as the Golden Sword or Magical Boomerang.

Ocarina of Time

The first fountan encountered in this installment of the series is on teh summit of Death Mountain as a child right after Link defeats the monster King Dodongo in Dodongo's Cavern. Link must play the Zelda's Lullabyon the Triforce marked pedestal in order to make the Great Fairy appear.
