Dark Ghini are a variant of the Ghini, appearing in A Link Between Worlds and Tri Force Heroes.[1]

A Link Between Worlds

Dark Ghini first appear within the Dark Palace. They are only visible when the room is in darkness. When Link draws near or if there is light nearby, the Dark Ghini will disappear. Regardless of whether Link is able to see a Dark Ghini or not, he can strike it with his sword to deal damage. The Dark Ghini appears alongside the regular Ghini on Floor 32 of the Advanced Level of the Treacherous Tower.

Tri Force Heroes

In Tri Force Heroes, Dark Ghini have a very similar behavior as their A Link Between Worlds counterpart. They are once again complete invisible when light shines on them, but they become visible in complete darkness. They are first encountered within the second stage of Palace Noir.
