Arurodas, also known as Aru Lowders or Skettlars, are enemies from The Adventure of Link and Echoes of Wisdom.

The Adventure of Link

Arurodas are tough foes resembling a one-eyed scorpion. These creatures live inside the caves in the southern deserts of Eastern Hyrule. They are extremely powerful and attack by firing a ball of flame from their tail at Link, which like an Acheman's fireball, cannot be blocked with his Shield unless Reflect has been cast. They have a very thick hide, and can only be damaged when the eye is open.

Arurodas can be found in the Gerudo Desert. They attack their preys using their stingers, either head-on or after burrowing underground and crawling up behind them. If Zelda is stung by one, she will be dealt one heart of damage.

Trivia

• Arurodas are fairly similar to the Aracha from Skyward Sword.
