"A sword created by the finest Goron smithy who ever lived. It slices deep but requires immense strength to wield. Press the Strong Attack button to quickly dash into enemies!"

— In-game description

The Giant Blade is a weapon class used by Impa in Hyrule Warriors. It is Impa's default weapon class, as she begins the game with a Giant's Knife. While wielding it, Impa fights using a curved greatsword and by channeling water magic through the weapon.

Variations

  • Giant's Knife: The Level 1 variation. The greatsword has a straight, steel blade with a curve at the end, and white Goron markings along the side. The handle is gold, with a circular gold cross-guard and pommel. Named after the Giant's Knife from Ocarina of Time.
  • Biggoron's Knife: The Level 2 variation. The greatsword now has a curved design, with a serrated inner blade and white Sheikah eyes adorning the side. The handle is red, with a circular gold cross-guard and pommel.
  • Biggoron's Sword: The Level 3 variation. The greatsword has a curved, sleek design, with blue Sheikah markings adorned along the side; the handle is blue, with a slim, lighter blue cross-guard, a gold medal with the Goron emblem, and a gold pommel. Named after Biggoron's Sword from Ocarina of Time.
  • 8-Bit Boomerang?: The Level ★ variation. Impa wields a giant version of the Boomerang from The Legend of Zelda, rendered in 3D and attached to a plain black handle.
  • Biggoron's Sword +: The Level 4 variation. Appears identical to Biggoron's Sword.
  • Biggoron's Sunblade: The Level 4+ variation, which adds Hyrule Warriors Element Light.png Light as a secondary element. Appears similar to Biggoron's Sword, but with a bright yellow color scheme.
