The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass is a downloadable content pass for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Announced during a Nintendo Direct on February 17th, 2021, it consists of two waves, released on separate dates for a single price of $19.99 USD. Preorders became available on May 28, 2021.

The Pass is split into two Waves: Pulse of the Ancients and Guardian of Remembrance.

Purchase Bonus

Purchasing either Wave of the Expansion Pass would also unlock a new One-Handed Weapon for Link, the Prototype Ancient Short Sword, and a new armor set, the Prototype Ancient Set.

Trivia

  • Due to a Nintendo eShop error, European players were able to download and obtain the purchase bonus without having to purchase the DLC itself. In response, Nintendo announced that players would be allowed to keep the equipment until the release of Wave 1, but would need to purchase the DLC afterwards to continue using them.[1]
