The Sand Boots are a piece of leg armor found in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Appearances
Breath of the Wild
Sand Boots have a base defense of 3, and increase Link's walking speed on sand. They can be obtained by speaking to Bozai outside of the Gerudo Town whilst wearing the Gerudo Veil, Top, and Sirwal, where he will request an image of the Statue of the Eighth Heroine. Once Link shows him this image, Bozai will hand over the boots.
Usage
The Sand Boots, while providing higher speed on sand, are not interchangeable with the Desert Voe Trousers in the Desert Voe Set in terms of said set's Extreme Heat and Lighting Immunity. Also, these boots can be worn in place of the Gerudo Sirwal in order to enter Gerudo Town, just as long as the Veil/Thunder Helm and the Top are being worn.
After Link has obtained this item for the first time, he will be able to purchase it from Granté in Tarrey Town for 800 Rupees.
Alongside the Snow Boots, the Sand Boots are among the only enhanceable and dyeable single armor pieces that are not part of Sets. All other single pieces of armor are either only enhanceable (Circlets and Earrings), or only dyeable (Warm Doublet, Gerudo Set).
Enhance Path
Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
