The Vow of Sidon, Sage of Water is a Key Item in Tears of the Kingdom.

"Proof of the vow of Sidon, Sage of Water. Use it to summon or dismiss the avatar of Sidon."
When Sidon and Link defeat Mucktorok in the Water Temple, it allows Sidon to obtain the ancient Zora Sage of Water's Secret Stone. This allows him to generate an avatar which can fight in his stead and use Sidon's Power of Water. He then makes a vow to "fight by [Link's] side until the end", and transfers the ability to call the avatar to Link, embodied as a ring worn on the latter's right index finger, as the new Sage of Water.
The avatar attacks enemies with a Lightscale Trident, and Link can have it use Sidon's Power of Water to create "water walls", bubbles of water which can shield Link from attacks, or be used to generate a burst of water as an attack. It cannot be summoned within the boundaries of a town, in mid-air or in Shrines of Light.
The avatar's attack power can be upgraded by trading four Sage's Wills to a Goddess Statue, upgrading the vow to the Solemn Vow of Sidon, Sage of Water.
