Bellum
Bellum is the final boss of Phantom Hourglass. He can be fought once you reach the thirteenth floor of the Temple of the Ocean King. His battle has a total of 3 phases.
Phases
Phase One: Bellum, Evil Phantom
Use the Grappling Hook on Bellum's ooze in order to pull its eyes closer to you. Proceed to slash away. After feeling the wrath of Link's sword, Bellum will hop out of the pool and head through the ceiling. Follow him up using the spiral staircase. Equip the bow and circle around the room. Shoot an arrow out at each of Bellum's tentacles. They each have an eye and once they are hit, they will turn purple. Repeat the process for all eyes.
After a scene involving Oshus, Ciela restores her memory and is confirmed to be the Spirit of Time and Courage. Collect the large orb of Phantom Sphere the fairy emits and use it to upgrade your Phantom Hourglass. Draw the hourglass symbol. Stop time and slash at Bellum's eye. Repeat until the first phase is complete.
Phase Two: Ghost Ship
Bellum will possess the Ghost Ship. Link must avoid being hit by this form's pink ooze. Maneuvering the S.S. Linebeck, Link must shoot at Bellum's eyes sprouting from the Ghost Ship in order to save Tetra.
Phase Three: Bellum
Bellum's final form is a lumbering mass. Link cannot circle it over, however, as Bellum turns around quickly. Ciela releases a Phantom Sphere in order to assist Link, however, this has no effect on Bellum. Realizing this, Ciela flies to observe Bellum's back eyeballs which are closed. She succeeds in opening them but is caught by Bellum's tentacles.
The battle will ignite with Ciela's perspective on the top screen. Eventually, Link and Bellum will ignite in sword gridlock. Tap the touchscreen in order for Link to slash Bellum's body with his Phantom Sword. This will bring the boss down to one knee. A short stun period will follow during which Ciela releases a Phantom Sphere. Link must stop time and slash at Bellum's back. This will provoke more anger from Bellum who begins unleashing additional spin attacks. Rinse, wash, and repeat the process.
