"No damage from small rocks"

— In-Game Description[1]

The Red Holy Ring is a Magical Ring that Link acquires in Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. Link can acquire the ring by planting a Gasha Seed and finding it within a Gasha Nut. Link can also acquire it in a Seed Ring form by bumping into Maple. The ring can also be acquired through a Fortune Link at Vasu's jewelry store.

In Oracle of Seasons, Link can win the Red Holy Ring as one of the prizes in the Subrosian Dance Hall.

In Oracle of Ages the Magical Ring can be found inside a Treasure Chest at the bottom of the Zora Seas in the Past. It is located within an underwater Cave that is two screens directly south of the Eyeglass Island Library. Maneuver through the underwater screens to reach the cave. Once inside, use the Long Hook to switch with the diamond at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Swim over and open the Treasure Chest to get the Seed Ring.

When equipped, the Red Holy Ring makes Link immune to attacks from small rocks, such as the rocks that are spit out from Octoroks. Considering that there aren't too many enemies that attack with such rocks, this ring is not a very effective ring. Link can use his basic Shield instead of this rather useless ring. If a rock hits Link when this ring is equipped, it makes the same sound effect as if Link blocked the rock with his Shield. This ring has no effect on larger rocks such as the Boulders that appear on Restoration Wall.

Other defensive rings are more effective, such as the Red Ring or the Armor Ring L-1. If Link has the L-2 Ring Box or the L-3 Ring Box, he can keep the Red Holy Ring stored, but it is unwise to have it equipped unless Link is on a screen with enemies that shoot rocks at him.

The Blue Holy Ring is very similar Magical Ring. Instead of making Link immune from small rocks, he is immune from Fireballs that are shot out from River Zora enemies.
