The Dispelling Darkness Medal is a key item found in Tears of the Kingdom. It is obtained automatically once Link has activated all 120 Lightroots in the Depths. It currently has no use.

Every Lightroot in the game is directly connected to a Shrine of Light on the surface, so if Link has completed every Shrine of Light beforehand, he can use the Surface map to locate any Lightroot in the Depths that has not been activated, and vice versa for using the Depths map to locate missing Shrines of Light.
