Geoglyphs and the Dragon Tears is a guide, which includes both the Impa and the Geoglyphs, as well as The Dragon's Tears main quests.
Finding Cado
- Cado can be found at eight different locations throughout Hyrule early on in the game. Speaking to him at any of these eight locations triggers the same text, which will begin the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest. The locations are designed so that after leaving Lookout Landing, whichever direction Link travels, he will come across Cado.
Cado Locations
- At the New Serenne Stable, northwest of Lookout Landing.
- Hyrule Forest Park, just east of Hyrule Castle.
- At the east end of the Thims Bridge, found on the path southeast of the Woodland Stable.
- Along the pathway, southeast of Wetland Stable and directly west of the Millennio Sandbar.
- At the south end of the Kakariko Bridge, between Dueling Peaks Stable and Kakariko Village.
- At the north end of the Digdogg Suspension Bridge.
- Near the fork in the road just north of Zora River and west of Inogo Bridge.
- On the main road at Salari Plain, just east of the Maritta Exchange Ruins.
- On the path at the north end of the Bridge of Hylia.
Speak to Cado to begin the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest. Find Impa just northeast of New Serenne Stable
Impa and the First Geoglyph
- New Serenne Stable can be found to the northwest of Lookout Landing on the other side of the Carok Bridge. Here Link finds Cado, who points Link to the northeast of the stable where Impa is located.
- Upon arriving, Link learns that Impa's balloon has seperated from the base, preventing her from using it to fly up into the sky. Link can use Ultrahand to reattach the balloon to the base.
- Link can then speak with Impa who will step onto the base of the balloon. Link can then use a fire based weapon, or a Fire Fruit to light the torch beneath the balloon, sending it up into the sky.
- Link and Impa can see the Geoglyph down below and Impa mentions there near, or perhaps even within the border of the Geoglyph is a Dragon's Tear, and she tasks Link with exploring to find it.
- Link can paraglide back down and at coordinates (-1413, 0966, 0125), Link will find the Dragon's Tear. Examining it will trigger the Where Am I? cutscene.
- Impa will then appear, guiding Link to visit the Forgotten Temple. This will complete the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest, while beginning The Dragon's Tears quets.

The Forgotten Temple
- The Forgotten Temple can be found at the northeast end of the Tanagar Canyon. From where Link and Impa find the first Dragon's Tear, Link can take the main path directly north and glide down into the Canyon. It will take a little bit of climbing to make it into the Forgotten Temple. Upon arriving, Cado will be seen, securing the hot-air balloon, and he mentinos that Impa has traveled deepered into the temple.
- Link can make his way through the Forgotten Temple, eventually coming to the Mayausiy Shrine. Impa can be found just beyond the shrine, where she is still looking for clues.
- Eventually when Link reaches the back room of the Forgotten Temple, he'll be joined by Cado and Impa. Impa recognizes the Geoglyphs on the wall and mentions that their locations correlated with the map of Hyrule which is shown on the ground floor. The first Geoglyph is the one the pair saw already, but she mentions the second one is located near Rito Village. She encourages Link to copy the map, which Link can do using his Camera.
