South Akkala Plains is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Found directly south of the Akkala Tower, the plains are a fairly empty area. The path to the northwest leads uphill, towards the Akkala Bridge Ruins, along with the steep cliffs that lead to the Akkala Citadel Ruins.

Tears of the Kingdom

The South Akkala Plains is a fairly empty area, found just south of the Akkala Citadel Ruins. The South Akkala Plains Chasm can be found right in the middle of the plains. Outside of a few sparce trees, and areas with some short grass, the region is fairly lifeless, with not much vegetation or any enemies patrolling.

On the higher plateau, southeast of the Akkala Citadel Ruins, a Thunder Gleeok can be found. When Link approaches, a thunderstorm will begin. If Link has an upgraded Rubber Set, it will offer some Shock Resistance, and can make Link Lightning Proof.

Korok Seed

  • Near the canons, just west of the Thunder Gleeok, there is a block puzzle. Place the block in the proper location to get the Korok Seed.
