Vines are Objects in several The Legend of Zelda games. In The Wind Waker, thorned vines appear as enemies.
Oracle of Seasons
In Oracle of Seasons, vines only grow in Summer and within certain areas. The entrance to the third dungeon, Poison Moth's Lair, is only accessible via climbing vines during the Summer season.
The Wind Waker
In the Forbidden Woods, Vines serve as enemies, hindering Link's progress. They appear hidden underground, but when Link walks near, they will appear, serving as a barrier, preventing Link from crossing. This often leads to a maze like experience, where Link will have to navigate around the vines to find the correct path.
Skyward Sword
In Skyward Sword, you can climb vines faster by swinging the Wii Remote to leap upwards on the vine. When performing this action, stamina is used.
