Breath of the Wild In-Game Description

The Snowquill Headdress is a helm found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

A Snowquill Headdress has a base defense of 3 and increases resistance to cold. It can be purchased from the Brazen Beak clothing shop in Rito Village for 1000 Rupees. This piece of armor, as well as the rest of the Snowquill Set, is vital in surviving areas of extreme cold, such as the Hebra Mountains or Mount Lanayru.

Armor Set

The Snowquill Set (also including Snowquill Tunic and Snowquill Trousers) makes the wearer immune to freeze effects when all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.

Enhance Path

Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.

Tears of the Kingdom

A Snowquill Headdress has a base defense of 3 and increases resistance to cold. It can be purchased from the Brazen Beak clothing shop in Rito Village for 650 Rupees. This piece of armor, as well as the rest of the Snowquill Set, is vital in surviving areas of extreme cold, such as the Hebra Mountains.

Trivia

  • It's implied that the headdress has special or magical properties for cold protection like the Ruby Circlet because, in reality, it would provide negligible cover from the cold.
