Attack Explanation
Base String Link performs a series of five attacks: he shoots a fireball from the rod, then shoots two in separate directions, then shoots three, spins the rod around him, and finishes by transforming the rod into a blaster and shooting a humungous fireball forward.
C1? Link creates a pillar of flame that moves straight forward, knocking back enemies it hits; alternatively, hold X / Y for a short time to perform a short-ranged burst in front of Link.
C2? Link slams the rod to the ground, creating a pillar of flame that remains for a brief period. Enemies hit by the pillar are knocked into the air; from there, he can follow up with a horizontal pillar, which he can then split in half and spin around (X / Y , X / Y ).
C3? Link transforms the rod into an axe and performs an upward strike. From there, he can follow up with a horizontal swing around him, and then throw the rod around him in a circular motion (X / Y , X / Y ).
C4? Link transforms the rod into a flamethrower and blasts the area in front of him, remaining stationary; you can use the control stick to rotate Link as he is firing. From there, he can follow up with a fiery vortex that knocks enemies upward, and then create a massive pillar of flame in the air to catch said enemies (X / Y , X / Y ).
C5? Link jumps up and smashes the rod into the ground, summoning a fire spirit that spins around the area in front of Link before flying away.
Special Attack Link transforms the rod into a blaster and raises it to the air, summoning a fire spirit that charges forward in a circular motion.
Focus Spirit Finisher Manual: Link raises the rod to the air before swinging it down, summoning a meteor that crashes down in front of him.
Automatic: Link transforms the rod into a blaster and raises it to the air, which releases his remaining magic in a fiery explosion around him.
Weak Point Smash Enemy Captain/Warrior: Link transforms the rod into a missile launcher and charges up, before shooting a giant fireball at his target.
