The Great Fairy is a weapon class used by Link in Hyrule Warriors. While wielding the weapon, the player controls a Great Fairy, who in an ironic twist on the typical formula, carries Link in a giant Bottle, releasing him to perform various Combo Attacks in tandem with the hero.

Variations

Note that Link can be seen with the Hylian Sword whenever he is released from the Bottle; Depending on what tier the player is using, Link will have the corresponding Hylian Sword tier.

  • Great Fountain Fairy: The Level 1 variation. The Great Fairy is based on those seen in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Link will use his Knight's Sword.
  • Great Forest Fairy: The Level 2 variation. Link will use his White Sword.
  • Great Sky Fairy: The Level 3 variation. Link will use his Magical Sword.
  • 8-Bit Fairy: The Level ★ variation. Based on the Fairies in The Legend of Zelda, rendered in 3D. Link will use his 8-Bit Wooden Sword.
  • Great Sky Fairy +: The Level 4 variation. Link will use his Magical Sword +.
