Grassland Fox

"This breed of fox is common to grasslands and forests and is hallmarked by its fluffy, white-tipped tail. Unlike other foxes, they tend to act independently rather than form packs. Being omnivores, they hunt animals smaller than themselves and often stick to eating fruit and insects."

— Hyrule Compendium entry

A Grassland Fox is an animal found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Grassland foxes are found all over Hyrule, especially in meadows. Upon death, they drop Raw Meat. This animal will not attack Link when approached, but it will most likely run away, which makes it perfect for beginner hunters.

Tears of the Kingdom

Grassland foxes are found all over Hyrule, especially in Hyrule Ridge and Hyrule Field. Upon death, they drop Raw Meat. This animal will not attack Link when approached, and will most likely run away.
