If you have [[Maple's Ring]], equip it, as this will halve the amount of enemies you need to defeat to force Maple to appear, from 30 down to 15. A good place to farm encounters is in the past. Link begins the adventure through Labrynna with three full Heart Containers. There are twelve quarter Heart Pieces scattered throughout the game. There is also full Heart Container to snag after each boss, bringing Link's total life to fourteen hearts after obtaining each Heart Piece and Heart Container.

If playing the second game in a Linked Game, Link will start with four full Heart Containers, and has the ability to max his hearts out to sixteen, by utilizing one of the Linked Game Secrets.

    Conditions: Acquire Ember Seeds

    Heart Piece #1 - Go down one screen from Mayor Ruul's House. You should see the Heart Piece located behind a small bush. Use an Ember Seed to burn down the bush and collect the Piece of Heart.
