"A shield once used by the guards of Hyrule Castle. It's easy to handle, but its core is made of wood, so it can catch fire."

— In-Game Description

The Soldier's Shield is a shield found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Appearances

Breath of the Wild

Soldier's Shields have a base Shield Guard of 16, and is commonplace in and around the Necluda province of Hyrule, often in the hands of Bokoblins or in Treasure Chests. It is mainly wooden in design, with a blue paint-job, meaning this item will catch fire under certain circumstances and cannot be controlled with Magnesis.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Soldier's Shield retain their Breath of the Wild appearance, along with their Shield Guard rate of 16.
