— In-game description

Gauntlets are a weapon class used by Link in Hyrule Warriors. While wielding it, Link fights using a pair of gauntlets and a heavy ball and chain, using them to smash enemies aside, burrow underground, and pick up and throw objects.

Variations

  • Silver Gauntlets: The Level 1 variation. Based on the namesake item from Ocarina of Time. The wrecking ball used is the Ball and Chain from Twilight Princess.
  • Golden Gauntlets: The Level 2 variation. Based on the namesake item from Ocarina of Time. The wrecking ball used is a golden version of the Ball and Chain.
  • Power Gloves: The Level 3 variation. The gauntlets are silver, with orange jewels embedded into the knuckles and sides. The wrecking ball used is based on a Chain Chomp.
  • 8-Bit Power Bracelet: The Level ★ variation. A pair of the namesake item in The Legend of Zelda, with black gloves and rendered in 3D. The wrecking ball used is a 3D render of the Raft, attached to a green rope.
  • Power Gloves +: The Level 4 variation. Identical to the Power Gloves, but much more powerful.
  • Burning Gloves: The Level 4+ variation, which adds Hyrule Warriors Element Fire.png Fire as a secondary element. Identical to the Power Gloves, but with a red color scheme.
