This is particularly useful while exploring Death Mountain and Vah Rudania. Despite the shared name, it does not grant the stronger Fireproof effect, which protects from all flame.

It can be made with any amount of Fireproof Lizards and/or Smotherwing Butterflies along with any amount of any monster parts at a Cooking Pot.

The Flame Guard effect that this elixir gives cannot be achieved through cooking meals, making it the only buff in the game with such a condition. This property can be permanently gained by wearing the Flamebreaker Set.
