In order to get it, Link has to start a fire and put a [[Sneaky River Snail]] on it until it becomes a Sneaky River Escargot. It cannot be obtained by cooking one Sneaky River Snail in a [[Cooking Pot]]. An alternative method to obtain it, is to go to [[Death Mountain]] in the [[Eldin (Breath of the Wild)|Eldin Region]] and drop a Sneaky River Snail on the floor, and because of the temperature it will become a Sneaky River Escargot.
