The Light Spirits are deities or spirits that have been seen in Twilight Princess. They can be found in each of the four Light Springs found throughout Hyrule.

Backstory

Lanayru told Link of the history of both the Light Spirits and the beings known as the Dark Interlopers. He said that they, the Light Spirits, were called on by the goddesses to stop the Dark Interlopers from claiming the Sacred Realm as their own. In order to do this, they had to steal and then hide away the dark power the Interlopers relied on to become powerful, the Fused Shadow. They decided to seal them away in a new realm, one that would be in constant Twilight and called the Twilight Realm.

It is later revealed by Midna that the Twili, the people living in the Twilight Realm, are the descendants of the Interlopers. Thus, Midna is also a descendant of the Interlopers.

Members

There are four Light Spirits in total, and they are listed below.

Ordona

The first Light Spirit is known as Ordona. He is the Light Spirit of the Ordona Province.

Faron

Trivia

• The names of the Light Spirits, except for Ordona, is a reference to the Golden Goddesses; Faron is named after Farore, Eldin is named after Din and Lanayru is named after Nayru.
• In Skyward Sword, the three dragons are also called Faron, Eldin,and Lanayru.
