Lake Hylia is a recurring location in the Zelda series. It has been featured in four games. In each of these four games it has held a dungeon in it.

Lake Hylia in A Link to the Past is ridden with enemies such as the evil version of the Zoras. The Dark World version of Lake Hylia holds the Ice Palace.
Ocarina of Time
Backround
Lake Hylia lies southwest of Hyrule Field, Link gets here for the first time as a child through the tunnel which connects the Lake and Zora's Domain. He accidentally find Ruto's Letter here. As an adult Zora's Domain has frozen and the path has been frozen so Link gets here either by foot, horse or the river which flows from Gerudo Valley. His task is to restore the Lake's water which has been mysteriously drained.
Points of Interest
- Fishing Hole - Link can get here as child nad as adult, He can fish here and get some rewards.
- Lakeside Laboratory - Here Link can also obtain some rewards and will come here if he starts the Trading Sequence.
- Pierre - Pierre and his brother will be here in the past.

The Minish Cap
Lake Hylia is one of the areas of Hyrule and houses the fourth dungeon of the game, the Temple of Droplets. The Temple holds the third element, the Water Element. Stockwell's house, Mayor Hagen's house, David Jr. and Waveblade are located here.
Twilight Princess
Backround
In Twilight Princess, Lake Hylia can be found in the southern part of the Lanayru Province. The Great Bridge of Hylia passes above the lake and leads into the center of the province. Fyer is located here with his Human-Cannonball Ride. Link can pay him for an Oasis Flight up to the Gerudo Desert or a normal flight up onto Falbi's house where Link can play the mini-game Falbi's Flight-by-Fowl or just pass through the house to reach the Great Bridge of Hylia.
When first encountered the Lake is corrupted with Twilight and almost dried out, however once Link collects all the Tears of Light and unfreezes Zora's Domain, the Lake is filled with water and restored from Twilight.
