The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is a HD remake of Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii U. It is set to be released in March 4, 2016. It is being co-developed by Australian video game developer, Tantalus.
Changes from GC/Wii Version
- 12 Tears of Light have to be collected instead of 16.
- The first wallet carries 500 Rupees, Big Wallet carries 1,000 Rupees, and Giant Wallet carries 2,000 Rupees.
- A new item called Ghost Lantern which lets Link track Imp Poes during the day has been added.
- Swimming and riding Epona is improved.
- Swimming and climbing animations are sped up.
- Rupees are no longer returned to their Treasure Chests if Link's Wallet is full.
- Link must catch a fish for Sera's cat only once during the beginning of the game as opposed to twice.
- The number of Poes defeated and remaining in each area is now tracked on the map screen.
- The map also shows the location of Horse Grasses.
- Link will no longer hit his sword against walls, instead, it simply goes through them, making combat more manageable in close quarters.
