In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild there is a wide variety of different stores Link can find across Hyrule. Anything from generic stores that sell Ingredients to the monster store the Fang and Bone. For simplicity the varying types of stores have been split into 4 types of trader: General Stores which sell a mixture of items, Armor Shops that sell Armor, Speciality Stores that sell specific/specialised items and, Travelling Traders those who Link can find along the road who will sell some items.
