The Spiked Slug is an enemy that appears in Spirit Tracks. It turns into a spiked ball when hit. It will explode after a short time, but a subsequent hit will cause it to explode immediately.

Spiked Slugs are easy to kill. They are basic enemies and move incredibly slowly. Their only attack is to jump towards Link. They can be defeated with any weapon, though a simple sword slash works fine.
