Template:Location

Woodfall is a location in Majora's Mask located in the Woodfall region of Termina. It is a murky, poisonous swamp area that will eventually opened up the path to the Woodfall Temple. It is similarly named after the region Woodfall. The area itself is a wide crater filled with poisonous swamp water and many platforms, this was at the hands of the cursed work of Majora's Mask.

Story

After Link learns the Sonata of Awakening from the imprisoned Monkey, he heads through the Woodfall Shortcut. When Link first enters Woodfall, he'll find what appears to be a murky purple swamp and nothing more. Link must traverse across the dangerous swamp waters to reach the Deku Altar. Ater donning the Deku Mask and playing the Sonata of Awakening on the Altar, the gargantuan Woodfall Temple will emerge from the depths of the swamp. A Deku Flower will be at the edge of the deck for Link to use. Jumping into the flower and propelling himself to the ledge of the Woodfall Temple will bring him to the entrance.

After navigating the cursed dungeon and ridding the evil that lies within its depths, the swamp waters surrounding the crater return to their once purified state.

Heart Piece

When in Woodfall, if you keep flying from platform to platform after the one with the Owl Statue, the last one will have a Treasure Chest on it. Open it to receive Heart Piece #27.

Great Fairy of Power

If Link is able to collect all the Stray Fairies in the Woodfall Temple, he will find quite the reward at the Great Fairy Fountain in Woodfall. The Great Fairy of Power will grant Link with the ability to generate a more powerful version of the Spin Attack using the Magic Meter. The Magic Spin Attack has a wider range and looks more formidable than the regular Spin Attack.
