Monster Rice Balls are a piece of food in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

"Rice balls flavored with monster extract. Their unique aroma is not for everyone."

Breath of the Wild in-game description

Monster Rice Balls can be made in a lit Cooking Pot using Monster Extract, Hylian Rice and Rock Salt. Adding ingredients with stat-boosting effects may create variants with those effects - for instance, using Spicy Pepper, Sunshroom, Warm Safflina or Sizzlefin Trout in addition to the basic ingredients would create Spicy Monster Rice Balls.

If ingredients carrying multiple different effects are added, they will cancel out and leave the result as plain Monster Rice Balls. There is no benefit to cancelling out effects in this manner.

Note that Monster Extract randomises the strength and duration of effects from dishes it is added to, along with the number of hearts recovered, so the results of the cooked dish can be unpredictable beforehand.
