The Tanagar Canyon West Cave is a cave found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Tanagar Canyon West Cave entrance can be found in the south-western part of the Tanagar Canyon, east of Piper Ridge and Nero Hill and west of Mount Rhoam. It directly leads to a vast open cavern that guides to broken plates of a ruin to drop into. Taking this small drop reveals a small chamber which is home to some Stone Pebblits. Surrounded by the walls of a ruin and statues, a wall of breakable red sediment can be found next to a handful of stairs covered in sand. This is the first of a good handful of red and blue sediment walls inside the cave.

After breaking the multiple layers of the first wall of red sediment, two long hallways are revealed.

The path leading south almost immediately shows an Ice Like and after turning a corner, a wall of blue sediment, which - unlike the red sediment - cannot be broken with Bomb Flowers, only physical impact or Yunobo's Power of Fire. Behind those is another expansive cavern with a Bubbulfrog inside with a grand blue wall of breakable rocks to the north and behind a fallen over statue, another wall with red breakable rocks leading into a little spring cave with two Ore Deposits, one Rare Ore Deposit and - depending on how many Link currently has in his inventory - some Fairies.

Taking the northern part towards a Luminous Stone Deposit reveals another Ice Like after turning a corner, guarding another wall of red breakable rocks behind it, leading into a longer cave with its walls almost exclusively made of ruins and an Shock Like at the end. There, the rooms splits again into a blue wall of breakable rocks that leads back into the room with the Bubbulfrog and a wall of red breakable rocks that, after being broken through the rightmost side of the red, finally give way to Iun-orok Shrine.

Iun-orok Shrine

Main article: Iun-orok Shrine

Found deep in the cave, the shrine, titled The Right Roll, requires Link to roll various Iron Balls down ramps to hit targets and open passageways. This involves using Ultrahand to combine iron balls into one to hit distant targets.
