"A pepper that's been gently caressed by an open flame. It's much less spicy now."
— In-Game Description
A Charred Pepper is a piece of food in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. It recovers ¾ of a heart, and can be obtained by dropping a Spicy Pepper over an open flame, or other methods when fire comes into contact with a pepper. If Link tries to cook a Spicy Pepper in a cooking pot, it will result in Link creating Spicy Sautéed Peppers, instead of a Charred Pepper.
