Zelda's Adventure!

Zelda's Adventure was a game that was made with Philips' 3 game contract after they left Nintendo. This game is not considered canon in the Legend of Zelda series.

Not many people even knew about the game, and the same goes with the other 2 Philips CD-i games. The game utilized sprites and other graphics elements taken from real-world photographs and video, Every screen of the game was produced via dioramas, which were then photographed from the top. Not much else is known about this game, but the small few who got this game didn't like it very much. Philips stepped up a little after this horrible affliction and made the Wand of Gamelon and the Faces of Evil, which still had some voice acting problems, since all the Zelda games made by Nintendo had never used voice acting except for Link's small little grunts and such.

Some have criticized the game for its long load times and low-quality graphics, while a few have praised it for being the only CD-i Zelda game with the traditional Zelda formula of top-down graphics, an expansive scrolling overworld, and several dungeons, each with its own item and boss, within the overworld.
