The Sword & Shield Maze is the eighth dungeon in Oracle of Seasons. It is also the only dungeon located in Subrosia. This maze houses numerous dangerous enemies and the Mini-boss, Frypolar. The dungeon item obtained here is known as the Hyper Slingshot. This weapon can be used to defeat the boss of the Sword & Shield Maze, Medelock. Once Link has conquered Medelock, he'll receive a Heart Container and the eighth Essence, Changing Seasons.
