The Eye Reefs are six islands scattered through different parts of the Great Sea in The Wind Waker. No one lives in the reefs, but they each hold their own special treasure or two. Each reef has a certain amount of stone pillars in the middle, giving them each their specific name. The pillars are arranged inside the square shaped island to form the shape of the dots on a die, with the six different islands each a different face of the die. Each reef also has a set of cannons planted on the walls of the island, and Link must sail around on the King of Red Lions and destroy all of the with Bombs. After Link destroys all of the cannons, a Treasure Chest will appear onto one of the pillars in the middle of the island. No cannons or guard boats on these islands will appear until Link has defeated the Helmaroc King, so the island seems useless until then.

Cyclops Reef

Cyclops Reef, the first of the Eye Reefs, is located two squares west of the Tower of the Gods. It has a square outer shape and one stone pillar in the middle, giving it the shape of a Cyclops or the 'one' side of a die. If Link destroys all the turrets on this reef, a treasure chest will appear holding a Treasure Chart that leads to the Light Ring Chart.

Two-Eye Reef

Two-Eye Reef, the second of the Eye Reefs, is located two squares east of Outset Island in quadrant G4. It has a square outer shape and two stone pillars in the middle, giving it the shape of something with two eyes, or the 'two' side of a die. If Link destroys all of the turrets and gun boats on this island, a treasure chest will appear holding a Treasure Chart that shows where the Secret Cave Chart is.

Big Octo

In the water around this island is a Big Octo. If Link defeats it, a Great Fairy will appear, thanking Link and doubling his Magic Meter.

Triforce Shard

Also in this island is one of the Triforce Shards. Once Link has the chart to find it, he can use his Grappling Hook and retrieve it from the bottom of the sea.

Three-Eye Reef

Three-Eye Reef, the third of the Eye Reefs, is located three squares south of the Forsaken Fortress. It has a square outer shape and three stone pillars in the middle, giving it the shape of something with three eyes, or the 'three' side of a die. When Link destroys all of the gunboats and cannons protecting this island, a treasure chest will appear holding Treasure Chart #32.

Piece of Heart

One of the items sold at Zunari's night auctions at Windfall Island are Treasure Maps. If Link wins the auction and wins a Treasure Chart, he can pull up a Piece of Heart from the bottom of the ocean at this island.

Four-Eye Reef

Four-Eye Reef, the fourth of the Eye Reefs, is located one square south of the Forsaken Fortress. It has a square outer shape and four stone pillars in the middle, giving it the shape of something with four eyes, or the 'four' side of a die. When Link destroys all of the cannons protecting this island, a treasure chest will appear holding Treasure Chart #19.

Great Fairy Chart

The Great Fairy Chart is hidden underwater near this island, and can be retrieved after Link has the Grappling Hook and the Treasure Chart found in the Five Eye Reef.

Five-Eye Reef

Five-Eye Reef, the fifth of the Eye Reefs, is located one square north of Outset Island. It has a square outer shape and five stone pillars in the middle, giving it the shape of something with five eyes, or the 'five' side of a die. Once Link destroys all of the cannons protecting this island, h a treasure chest will appear holding Treasure Chart #41. There is also another treasure chest on this island holding 200 Rupees, and can be retrieved from the bottom of the ocean with the Grappling Hook and a Treasure Chart found in the Earth Temple.

Six-Eye Reef

Six-Eye Reef, the sixth and final of the Eye Reefs, is located two squares south of Windfall Island. It has a square outer shape and six stone pillars in the middle, giving it the shape of something with six eyes, or the 'six' side of a die. Once Link destroys all of the cannons protecting this island, a treasure chest will appear holding the Treasure Chart that leads to the Octo Chart.

Piece of Heart

A submarine is located in the ocean near this island. If Link ventures onto that submarine and defeats all of the three Moblins inhabiting it, he will be rewarded with a Piece of Heart.
