Ganondorf still holds the Triforce of Power which he obtained in Ocarina of Time. He continues to seek the Triforce of Wisdom and the Triforce of Courage. The Master Sword appears to neutralize the effect of the Triforce of Power preventing it from keeping him alive. The Triforce of Power leaves Ganondorf and he dies on his feet.
