In three Zelda games, there is a large landmass separating two areas of the game. This landmass is usually called '''Hyrule Field'''. Hyrule Field is usually filled up with enemies and sidequest items. An example would be in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]'', where there are pairs of [[Golden Bugs]] located in Hyrule Field.

In three Zelda games, there is a large landmass separating two areas of the game. This landmass is usually called Hyrule Field. Hyrule Field is usually filled up with enemies and sidequest items. An example would be in Twilight Princess, where there are pairs of Golden Bugs located in Hyrule Field.

Appearances

In each game, Hyrule Field changes. It is usually a different size, or located at a different locaion. Another thing that is constantly changing about Hyrule Field is the number of them in one game.

Ocarina of Time

In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Hyrule Field is located in the middle of Hyrule, with Castle Town and Hyrule Castle to the North, Kakariko Village and Death Mountain to the North-East, Zora's Domain to the East, the Kokiri Forest to the South-East, Lake Hylia to the South-West, and the Gerudo Desert to the West. Located right in the middle is Lon Lon Ranch. After Link acquires the Master Sword and goes seven years into the future, he can now find 10 Big Poes in Hyrule Field. He can collect them all and sell them to the Poe Shop owner and he will give Link 50 Rupees for each Poe. Once Link has collected all 10 Poes, the Poe Shop owner will give Link the fourth and final Empty Bottle found in Ocarina of Time.

The Minish Cap

In The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, there are two Hyrule Fields. One is North Hyrule Field; which is located to the north of Hyrule. The second is South Hyrule Field; which is located to the south. Link's house is located in South Hyrule Field.

Twilight Princess

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, there were multiple Hyrule Fields within each of the three main provinces. In the Faron Province, there is a Hyrule Field that connects to the Eldin Province, the Lanayru Province, and Faron Woods. In the Eldin Province, there is a Hyrule Field to the north of Kakariko Village, which is connected to the Bridge of Eldin. In the Lanayru Province, there are multiple Hyrule Fields. They all are located near Castle Town. To the north of Castle Town there is North Hyrule Field. To the east (Wii) there is East Hyrule Field. Last but not least, to the south is South Hyrule Field.
