Hyrule Castle West is a location in Breath of the Wild.

Breath of the Wild

Hyrule Castle West is the fairly large island located just west of Hyrule Castle. A Guardian Skywatcher can be found patrolling around the area, and a Guardian Stalker can be found at the east side of the island, near the Castle Town Prison. Additionally, a Stone Talus can be found on top of the plateau near the center of the island.

The majority of the island is covered in forest, with some Mountain Buck and Mountain Doe roaming around.

At the east side of the region, the Castle Town Prison ruins can be found. Here there are a pair of treasure chest with a Knight's Bow and an Ancient Arrow. Additionally, as part of the EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes quest, Link will find Tingle's Shirt in a treasure chest.
